1 cup = 8 oz = 237 ml (this is usually rounded to 240 ml when using American Cup Recipes in the UK)
There is so much confusion about the American Cup Conversion in the UK that I have added below the results of my research
into the best way to deal with this. Below the tables will show three ways that we can convert these confidently.
Whichever set you use will be fine, but as in all recipes stick to the one set, don’t mix and match!
